There will be no
forgiveness
For what we have done.
There will be no
second chance
To make it right.
There will be no
reprieve
From our expulsion.
No grace.
No salvation.
No eternal life.
Only guilt, shame, and
anguish
Deeper than the oceans we have fouled,
Wider than the skies we have grayed.
This is the lesson
Of the Garden.
This is our testament.
Keep it real!
Marilyn

Short, but not sweet – as most warnings should be.
